We have magazines, books, audio books, and DVDs for all ages, so feel free to hop on board to browse and say "hello!" any time we're in your neighborhood. In 1959 a group of Morton County citizens began going door-to-door to generate interest in starting bookmobile service in the county. A bookmobile was purchased for $10,000. It had an average speed of 20 mph! The oldest schedule found shows 65 s

tops each month which included towns, 43 country schools and farmyards throughout the county. In May of 2007 the Morton County Library and the Mandan Public Library merged to become the Morton Mandan Public Library. The current Bookmobile was purchased in 2012.
