NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

Please be advised that Richard Price Contracting will be installing a large drainage pipe across Lovers Lane / N. Causeway Blvd. frontage road between Liberty Self Storage (1438 N. Causeway Blvd.) and Volkswagen of Mandeville (1700 N. Causeway Blvd.). This pipe installation is part of the larger ongoing LA 22 Drainage Improvements Project.

This work will necessitate a temporary full road closure from 7:00 a.m. April 14, 2026 to 7:00 p.m. April 15, 2026.

All business and residential areas access points will remain open and accessible to thru traffic only from Brookside Drive to the south and LA 22 to the north.

GREAT NEWS MANDEVILLE....

Less than a year after being voted "BEST TASTING WATER in LOUISIANA" at the LRWA Conference in July 2025, the City of Mandeville's Water & Sewer Division of the Public Works Department has been recognized again by a national magazine for implementing a novel aeration system in lift stations throughout Mandeville. This system will combat grease accumulation, resulting in reduced odors, lower maintenance costs and extended equipment lifespan.

Congratulations Public Works and thank you for all your hard work!

ROAD CLOSURE CAUTION!!!

Contractors will be placing a painted epoxy crosswalk at the intersection of Jackson Avenue and Lakeshore Drive beginning Monday, April 6, 2026 at 7am. The streets will remain CLOSED in both directions through Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 10am.
