While the start of Hurricane Season is drawing closer, our community’s leaders and first responders stand ready to serve you!

President Cooper hosted state and local emergency preparedness officials to provide details on preparations, available resources and communication tips for any potential storm.

Special thanks to GOHSEP Director Jason Mahfouz, the National Weather Service and our Emergency Preparedness Director Clint Ory for their information that will better serve our parish's first responders and local leaders!

You too can prepare by starting to gather supplies, check generators, create an evacuation plan and to sign up for STAT, our emergency alert system, at sttammany,gov/STAT

Our Public Works team has welcomed three new "Road Scholars!"

Team Tammany congratulates the hard work of Michelle Blackwell, David Schutte and Kato Pichon, who have accomplished the rigorous Road Scholars Program! The program requires individuals to complete six core classes and four elective classes focusing on important road and bridge maintenance skills including asphalt maintenance, heavy equipment safety and traffic control.

Michelle, David and Kato's accomplishment will not only broaden their knowledge and expertise, but also better serve our community!
