🚜 **DON'T LOSE YOUR "FARM CARD" – RENEW TODAY!** 🚜

We have heard that many farmers and ranchers are receiving letters from various businesses regarding their **Agricultural Sales Tax Exemption Permits** (Farm Cards) expiring soon.

🛑 **Did You Get a Letter?**

If you received a notice about your exemption expiring, don’t panic! You can easily renew your permit and keep saving on your essential farm purchases.

✅ **Two Ways to Renew:**

1. **Online via OkTAP:** Visit [oktap.tax.ok.gov](https://oktap.tax.ok.gov) to renew your permit from the comfort of your home.
2. **Call or Visit Us:** Our office is ready to help you through the process if you have questions or need assistance with the paperwork.

**Reminder:** You must also continue to assess your farm personal property with the County Assessor’s office to maintain your eligibility.

Please be advised that the Greer County Assessor’s Office will be closed this Friday, April 3rd, in observance of Good Friday. We will resume our regular hours, 8 am – 3 pm, on Monday, April 6th.

Mangum… we’re about to do something a little different 👀

On Friday, May 1st at 10:00 AM, we’re meeting at Mangum High School and launching a full-blown operation across town.

💐 THE PLAN:
Knock on doors…
Drop off flowers…
AND RUN AWAY!!! 😄
Yep… it’s basically ding d**g ditch… but with flowers 🌼

👨‍👩‍👧 WHO CAN JOIN?
👉 EVERYONE
Kids, families, churches, volunteers—if you want to be part of something fun and positive, come on out.

🌼 WE NEED FLOWERS!
We’re looking for those small flower trays/packs you can get at:
Walmart
Lowe’s
Ace
Atwood’s
Anywhere like that

👉 IMPORTANT:
Please bring/deliver flowers to the PD THE WEEK OF THE EVENT ONLY
(I love the support… but I do NOT have a greenhouse back there 😂)

🚌 TRANSPORTATION:
Mangum Schools and local churches are already stepping up to help move everyone around town 🙌

🙏 CHURCHES & GROUPS:
If you’re planning to bring kids, a head count would REALLY help so we can plan routes and transportation. The more the merrier!

📢 NOTICE TO GREER COUNTY FARMERS & BUSINESS OWNERS 📢

The March 15th deadline for Personal Property Assessments has now passed. If you have not yet turned in your assessment for your farm equipment or business inventory, please be aware of the following:

⚠️ LATE PENALTIES NOW APPLY

Assessments filed after March 15: A 10% penalty is now required by law.

Assessments filed after April 15: The penalty increases to 20%.

If you haven't filed yet, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible to avoid the higher penalty next month.
