Earlier this afternoon, Q8728 operated on scene of an auto accident with fire along with Manhasset-Lakeville Company 1 and Manhasset-Lakeville FD EMS in Strathmore Village. The crew worked to extinguish the vehicle after it had left the roadway striking multiple objects. Several aided on scene were treated and transported to area hospitals. Manhasset-Lakeville F.D. Nassau County Police Medic Assoc.

Tonight Q8728 responded first due to a car into a house on Kensington Circle in . Upon arrival a single vehicle was found to have lost control and struck the garage of a home causing structural damage and a gas leak. The crew of Q8728 worked to mitigate the leak and helped stabilize the structure. There were no injuries at scene.
