Friends of the Manhattan Beach Library book sale is coming this Saturday, September 21, from 10 am to 2 pm in the Library Community Room! All proceeds from these book sales go toward bettering the Manhattan Beach Library and aid in providing the programs you love. So come on out and see what gems you find, and meet the wonderful folks who make so much happen for our library!

The Great White Shark Expedition is coming to on Wednesday, July 24th at 3pm! Get ready to meet real-life marine biologists and shark divers Wayne and Karen Brown as they take you on a high-def journey of their shark dives and you meet a scale model of a Great White Shark. It's an experience you won't want to miss!

🚨Special Announcement! We will be having a mini Storytime at the Manhattan Beach Farmer’s Market on February 14 from 1-2pm at the Friends of the Library tent! Storytime starts at 1:15pm so come by and say Hi, pick up a Valentine’s Activity Kit (supplies limited, first come first served) and find out what’s in store in the coming weeks. The library announced new hours today.

Monday 10 am - 8 pm
Tuesday 10 am - 8 pm
Wednesday10 am - 8 pm
Thursday 10 am - 6 pm
Friday 10 am - 6 pm
Saturday 10 am - 6 pm
Sunday 1 pm - 5 pm

Sidewalk Service is available upon request. Anyone interested in Sidewalk Service should call the Library at 310-545-8595 and make arrangements. There probably will be new dates for the book sales, but that will be communicated in the next few weeks.

Donations of DVDs and books are needed for our upcoming book sales. Donations can be dropped off at the library.

The MBFOL Book Sale is returning!!
First sale will be January 21, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the library community room. There will rules which we will post later about social distancing, masks, and limited admittance.
