JumpStart is a three-week program designed to help transfer students get a head start on their business degree and make a smooth transition to K-State.

Have a business idea you are ready to pursue? Or already have a business and want to take it to the next level?

The K-State Center for Entrepreneurship Accelerator is open to all Kansas-based entrepreneurs and provides access to faculty expertise, student support, alumni mentors and resources designed to help businesses launch and grow.

This fall, entrepreneurs can apply for either the Idea Track or Growth Track, with funding opportunities of up to $10,000 and $50,000 for top-performing ventures.

Meet Charlotte Hartweger, an incoming Marketing major with an Art minor from Olathe, Kansas! 💜

Charlotte is joining us for an Instagram takeover to share a look at her experience in the JumpStart program and the start of her K-State journey.

Through JumpStart, she’s already learned the importance of time management, adaptability and stepping outside of her comfort zone. From building resumes and elevator pitches to networking with employers and presenting in front of others, the program has helped her grow personally and professionally before the semester even begins.

She’s looking forward to meeting new people, reconnecting with familiar faces and getting to work in the classroom this year.

A Finance major from Shawnee, Kansas, Logan is eager to learn more about corporate finance while working for a company known for its worldwide impact and recognizable products. Throughout the summer, he will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, connect with leaders across the organization, and gain a deeper understanding of Hallmark's operations.
