The Flint Hills Regional Leadership Program fosters leadership strengths centered on collaboration, adaptability, and shared purpose.

Qualified candidates must live within or work within the counties of Geary, Morris, Pottawatomie, Riley and Wabaunsee, or Fort Riley.

The schedule is posted on the “Apply” menu of www.fhrlp.org and candidates must commit to attending all sessions. Online application also includes uploading a pre-recorded 1-3 minute introduction video to serve as a virtual interview.

The Flint Hills Regional Leadership Program fosters leadership strengths centered on collaboration, adaptability, and shared purpose. Leadership modules opening each session will provide models for effective team management, mentorship, and resilience. Key leadership strengths fostered include collaborative and supportive leadership, nurturing and mentorship, adaptability & strategic flexibility, high-trust communication, and purpose-driven direction.

The Flint Hills Regional Leadership Program builds leaders through collaboration, inclusion, and service to community — training participants to listen across differences, practice humility, and solve problems through systems thinking and long-term vision.

FHRLP develops civic stewards...stewards who strengthen institutions, foster consensus, and unite diverse voices to create sustainable solutions for the region’s future.

Then, we focus on “Finding your Purpose”. We help our class members discover that they are more engaged citizen’s that are morally grounded in Servant Leadership.

Each class of up to 26 members is selected annually through a competitive application process. Qualified candidates must live within or work within the counties of Geary, Morris, Pottawatomie, Riley and Wabaunsee, or at Fort Riley. Sessions for the selected class members are held throughout the region. The schedule is posted on the “Apply” menu of www.fhrlp.org.
