Celebrate Manhattan's Museums in May! At the April 21st City Commission meeting, Mayor Susan Adamchak proclaimed the month of May as Museum Month! Manhattan is very fortunate to be home to a wide variety of destinations to spark interests. To name a few: Flint Hills Discovery Center, Museum of Art+Light, Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art, Riley County Historical Museum, Midwest Dream Car Collection, Wonder Workshop Children's Museum, and the Kansas State University Historic Textile and Costume Museum.
