We're excited to announce that our Summer Enrichment Program is back and many local extension offices have hired interns to teach 4-H Youth Programming across the State of Kansas this summer! Funding for this program is generously provided through the Kansas 4-H Foundation and the Patterson Family Foundation.

The 4-H Geology State Field Trip is scheduled for June 12-14 in Parsons, Ks. Registration Deadline is May 15! To Register: https://cvent.me/3owkLQ
Every family member who attends the trip must register.
This trip will focus on the Tri State Mining District, the Southeast Coal Mining Area and the Silver City Dome Mining Area. Specimens collected will be from the Pennsylvanian and Mississippian age rocks of the Cherokee Lowlands and the Osage Cuestas! The group will also stop to see Big Brutus on Saturday. The 4-H FCS Judging Contest will take place at Discovery Days this year instead of the Kansas State Fair! Youth may participate as an individual or as a team. You do not have to attend Discovery Days to participate. Once registered, contest details will be emailed to participants. This is a great way to participate in a state event for Family Studies, Foods & Nutrition or Health & Wellness projects!
