Want to be part of the celebration? Parade entries are still open, but registration is due soon! Gather your family, friends, neighbors, or organization and join us for a day full of community pride and patriotic fun.

Parade Time: 10:00 a.m.
Line-Up: 9:30 a.m. around Anna McDonald School, 200 Second St.
Theme: Red, White & Blue, must display an American Flag
Entry Fee: FREE

2026 Pop Tab Challenge is Underway!

Three Communities. One Great Cause.

The Pop Tab Challenge is back for 2026, and this year the friendly competition is getting even bigger! Channahon has invited Shorewood to join Manhattan, creating a three-community challenge to support Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Collecting June 1 – August 14, 2026
Community Goal: 1,000 Pounds of Pop Tabs

Last year, Manhattan collected an impressive 509 pounds of pop tabs! While Channahon took home the title with an incredible 859 pounds, we’re ready to raise the bar in 2026 and make an even bigger impact for families staying at Ronald McDonald House.

How to Participate:
✅ Save pop tabs from soda cans, soup cans, pet food containers, and other aluminum products.
✅ Collect them at home, work, school, church, or within your organization.
✅ Drop off your pop tabs at Manhattan Village Hall, 260 Market Place, by Friday, August 14, 2026.
