Come join us for our Friday program on Operatino Red Files. In partnership with the Kansas Senior Medicare Patrol, Operation Red File helps seniors keep critical medical information protected and easy to access during emergencies. Paticipants in the program are given a red folder attached to their refrigerator containing important documents such as medical history, medication lists, emergency contacts, insurance information, and a current photo. This allows first responders to quickly access vital information, reduce delays in care, and notify loved ones promptly during an emergency.

Don't forget the Smart Driver Course is happening here at the Center on May 27th from 9am-2pm there will be a smart driving course. The AARP Smart Driver course is the nation’s first refresher course specifically designed for drivers age 50 and older. In many states, drivers may benefit from a discount on their auto insurance premium upon completing the course. And you may learn something new along the way. In fact, an evaluation of the course found that 97% of participants reported improving at least one driving behavior after taking the course. You can sign up by calling the Center at (785) 537-4040.
