Frank V. Bergman Elementary School will host the annual Active Violence Response Drills with local first responders on June 3–5, 2026 from 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

The building and playground will be closed during this time, and summer meals will not be served on these dates.

You will see an increased presence of emergency vehicles and personnel, along with signage indicating that training is in progress.

This marks our 10th year of joint training with agencies including USD 383, Manhattan Fire Department, Riley County Police Department, and EMS—along with several regional partners.

Thank you for your understanding as we continue these important safety preparedness efforts.

Dear Bergman Families,

We’re excited to invite you to our final fundraiser of the school year—and this one is an easy (and fun!) way to support our school community.

Join us at Little Apple Nutrition on:

⏰ 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
📍 3200 Kimball Avenue (Candlewood Shopping Center, across from the new CiCo Park ballfields)

Throughout the entire day, a portion of all sales will be donated back to Bergman Elementary PTO to support our students, staff, and school initiatives.

We celebrated some of our amazing Bergman Dolphins with Pancakes with the Principals! 🥞🐬
These students earned this special reward by raising $200 or more during our Rock The Block fundraiser. We are so proud of their hard work, enthusiasm, and support for our school community!

Staff were treated to a delicious candy bar and refreshing root beer floats, and it was such a fun surprise during Teacher Appreciation Week. Your kindness, support, and generosity mean so much to all of us at Bergman.

Our staff felt so appreciated thanks to an incredibly generous donation from Mexican Taco Shop! 🌮

They provided a full spread for our team, and it truly meant so much. The smiles, excitement, and gratitude from our staff said it all—what a thoughtful way to support the people who pour so much into our students every day.

A huge thank you as well to our amazing PTO for helping organize everything and making this all come together so seamlessly. We are so grateful for the time, care, and effort you pour into supporting our staff!

We are beyond thankful for community partners like this who go out of their way to show kindness and generosity. It does not go unnoticed, and it makes a lasting impact on our school.

A huge thank you to our incredible PTO for all of their hard work in putting together such an amazing Party on the Playground! We had SO MUCH FUN and truly appreciate the time, effort, and heart that went into making this event so special.
We had an incredible turnout, and it was wonderful to see our school community come together. The dunk tank was definitely a crowd favorite, and there were so many smiles and laughs shared throughout the evening. So many core memories were made!
Thank you again, PTO, for creating such a fun and memorable experience for our students, staff, and families!

🎉 Rock the Block was a HUGE success! 🎉
We’re so proud of our students for their hard work and fundraising efforts. Winners earned amazing prizes like gift cards, a Sunset Zoo membership, and even a movie theater rental!
