From lactation strategies and insurance and advocacy information to mental health care and more, connecting families to the right resources at the right time can impact the health of both moms and babies.

This National Breastfeeding Month, learn more about the critical role we can play through "Promoting Healthy Outcomes During Pregnancy and Beyond: The Role of Community and Social Service Providers."

We invite all USD 383 Early Learning families to join us at Sunset Zoo on Thursday, August 27 from 5:15 to 6:45 p.m. Admission is free and the first 150 children to arrive will receive a free book. This event is a great opportunity to get out into the community and meet other early learning families. We hope you will join us!

Activities: Meet some real farm animals and learn about 4-H

Exciting news to share!
USD 383: Bluemont Elementary , USD 383: Lee Elementary School , Northview Elementary School , USD 383: Ogden Elementary , Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School, USD 383: Woodrow Wilson Elementary all have received the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable grant program again for this coming school year! Extra exciting news is that we were also able to obtain grant funding for Frank V. Bergman Elementary School to also receive this wonderful program for this school year!
The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) provides free, fresh produce to children in eligible elementary schools. The program aims to promote lifelong healthy eating habits by introducing students to a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables separate from breakfast and lunch.
