As the local champion for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, Konza United Way is deeply saddened by the loss of our beloved Dolly.

Dolly was more than a treasured artist and entertainer. She was a remarkable humanitarian, a devoted champion for children, and a bright light whose extraordinary kindness changed countless lives.

Through the Imagination Library, Dolly’s dream of placing books in the hands and hearts of children grew into a worldwide movement. Here in our community, the program has already served more than 3,000 children and is growing. Her legacy will live on with every book delivered, every story shared, and every child inspired to read.

In lieu of flowers, Dolly’s family has asked that donations be made to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. You can honor her memory by donating locally through Konza United Way, where your gift will help provide free books to children in our community.

Families may also enroll an eligible child to receive a free, age-appropriate book in the mail each month.
