Weather dependent, the 2026 paving program is scheduled to begin on August 11, 2026.

The contractor will be placing door hangers on properties in the areas where paving will take place.

Streets included:

- North Laurel Street (Memorial Drive to East Adele Avenue)
- North Oak Street (East High Street to 450 feet north of East High Street)
- North Clay Street (West Gramby Street to West Colebrook Street)
- Twilight Drive (North Penn Street to North Grant Street)

Additionally, streets where UGI recently worked, N. Grant, N. Clay, W. Gramby, W. Chestnut, N. Charlotte, W. Colebrook, and N. Pitt will be paved by a separate contractor. They will also be placing door hangers.

Did you know that stormwater drainage is a shared responsibility?

Here’s a quick breakdown:
• PennDOT is responsible for drainage systems on the surface of state roadways between curb lines and subsurface drainage on state roadways within townships.
• Municipalities are responsible for underground drainage systems located within their borders.
• Property owners are responsible for drainage on private property, including driveways.

Especially during times of quick-hitting and heavy rainfalls, drainage systems can be overwhelmed fast. Uncontrolled water flow can deteriorate paved surfaces and the areas beneath them. Residents can help prevent roadway damage by maintaining their driveways and limiting debris washouts.

Report drainage or other state road concerns to PennDOT via customercare.penndot.pa.gov.
