The Manistee track and field team sent six athletes to the Division 3 state finals on May 30, 2026. Ean Guenthardt, Davion Neal-Berry, Madalyn Wayward, Xavier Goodspeed, Maya Goodspeed and Hattie Driver.

💙Dayvion Neal-Berry, 100-meter dash preliminaries, placed 32nd
💛Ean Guenthardt, boys shot put, placed ninth
💙Xavier Goodspeed, boys shot put, took 20th
💛 Hattie Driver took 16th place in the 400-meter dash finals.
💙Madalyn Wayward placed fifth in discus, earning All-State honors.
💛Madalyn Wayward placed sixth in shot up, earning All-State honors.

On Friday, May 29th, 39 of our sophomores attended the field trip to the Michigan Legacy Art Park located at Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville. They walked the trails and viewed outdoor art sculptures created by Michigan artists. By the end of the field trip, they wrote down sensory details about one of the sculptures and then considered which art pieces may be included in their end of year portfolio for English II.

Chaperones: Mrs. Edmondson, Ms. Starmann, and Ms. Puchtel.
