Parkview Estates in Germfask will have a one bedroom unit available in the near future. Rent is based on income, minus any allowable deductions. Heat, water, trash are included in the rent, with coin-operated laundry on site.

🥫💚 2026 Feeding America Food Distribution Dates 💚🥫

Good Neighbor Services and Manistique Area Schools, in partnership with Feeding America West Michigan, will host the monthly food distributions to support our community.

📍 NEW Distribution Location:
115 N Lake Street, Manistique, MI
(Hiawatha Behavioral Health – near the Fair Building)

🕙 Time: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM

📦 Food boxes will be collected behind Hiawatha Behavioral Health
📅 2026 Distribution Dates (Wednesdays):

• May 6
• June 3
• July 1
• August 5
• September 2
• October 7
• November 4
• December 2

🚗 IMPORTANT – Directions MUST be followed to access the food truck line:
1️⃣ Turn off M-94 onto Main Street at the Schoolcraft County Sheriff’s Office and Jail
2️⃣ Travel one block on Main Street
3️⃣ Turn left onto Lake Street toward HBH and the Fair Building
4️⃣ At the HBH corner, continue straight toward the Fair Building
5️⃣ Turn right onto the small road between Cardinal Field and Water Tower Field
6️⃣ When this road meets the driveway behind the Medical Care Facility, turn right
7️⃣ Proceed to the Feeding America Food Truck location (as shown on the map)
8️⃣ Vehicles will exit by returning down Lake Street

A Message From The Hive…

We’ve been watching.

We saw early on that our youth needed more.

That purpose matters right now.

Come in. Stay as long as you need.

If you are part of this community, stay close to each other.
Check in.

Listen more than you speak.
Show up.

We cannot fix everything.
But we can create space.

Thankful for our very attentive maintenance staff that came to our rescue when they heard that water was running out of the women’s bathroom! 😂

Happy April 1st! We are hopeful for some true Spring weather to hit us soon! Just need to get through this next (and hopefully final) ice storm tomorrow 🤞🏽
