With the lovely weather we had yesterday, we are thankful we were not open for camping yet. Indian Lake South shore has more than a few trees down, in the campground and on the walking trails. We are working on cleaning it all up, it will take some time. Thank you to Fayette State Park for lending us Rangers Robbie and Shane and the high lift.

Kitch-iti-ipi is open over the fourth of July weekend. The park opens at 8am and closes at 10pm. The park does get very busy, please pack extra patience.

Mark your calendars! June 13–14 is "Three Free" Weekend!

*No ORV license or trail permit required for you to ride on 4,000 miles of state-designated routes and trails and in the state’s six scramble areas (other ORV rules and laws still apply).
*No fishing license required for you to fish for all in-season species (other fishing regulations still apply).
*No Recreation Passport required for you to visit any of Michigan’s 100+ state parks, 1,000+ boating access sites, and many other outdoor recreation areas.
