Leah Joslin just shattered the school record in the 300M Hurdles at the MHSAA U.P. D1 Finals! She absolutely flew across the track, clocking in at an incredible 50.87 seconds. Talk about leaving it all out there! Huge congratulations, Leah—way to leave your mark in the history books!

The former record was held by Amy Hickey with a time of 51.13 and was set in 2005.

There is a new fastest quartet in school history! Aaliyah Sears, Lexi Scheffer, Kendyl Flodin, and Harper Anderson competed at the MHSAA D1 U.P. Finals today. They officially set the new 4 x 200m school record with a spectacular time of 1:50.42.
Way to leave it all on the track, ladies!

The former record was held by Jasmine Volk, Natalie Pohlman, Hannah Bryant, and Kyra Lauzon with a time of 1:51.39 and was set in 2011.

Kyra Carlson will continue her educational journey this fall at Cleary University in Howell. In addition to pursuing her college studies, Kyra has committed to joining the university’s dance team, where she will have the opportunity to continue developing her talent and passion for dance while representing Cleary University.

Thanks to Jack’s customer Round-Up in the month of September and Wheatys Bingo Night earnings, the booster club has been able to purchase both a new pizza warmer and popcorn machine. These were much needed upgrades and will help our concessions run more efficiently at our sporting events. Thank you again to these local businesses and our community for your support and generosity!

Congratulations Emeralds!

After a long Upper Peninsula winter, the Indian Lake Golf and Country Club welcomed golfers back to the course, opening its front nine holes on April 27 with the Manistique Varsity Golf Quad.

Teams from Manistique, Munising, Big Bay, and Gwinn competed in the early-season event, marking a return to competition after months of winter conditions.

Despite blustery winds and only brief stretches of sunshine, golfers persevered through all nine holes, kicking off the spring season with determination and enthusiasm.
