A few days ago, I made a big commitment.
To run across Colorado, over the Rockies and into Moab, Utah.
It’s 400+ miles, likely somewhere over 30,000 feet of climbing and will require more than a few days to finish.
It’s a route I’ve dreamt of for a long time, I finally have the base to train for it and ultimately have a reason to push my body this far now.
That reason is Bodhi Springs Mountain Retreat Center.
These miles are for all the love, growth, healing and change that Bodhi Springs facilitates.
Bodhi Springs is a center for mental, spiritual and emotional health.
Throughout this process, I hope to raise an amount of money and awareness that’ll really help keep Bodhi Springs around for many years to come. I hope that this fundraiser and this 400 mile run across Colorado will draw attention to Bodhi and build the desire for others to experience its magic.
It’s a place where I’ve watched veterans process their traumas, young athletes find their purpose, couples tend to their relationships, inner children be expressed and Love & Kindness to be shared by so many who arrive at Bodhi in so many different ways and places in their own lives.
With the community Bodhi has brought to me, these miles are more than attainable.
This journey is gonna hurt. I imagine pretty badly. But with all these beautiful people in front, next to me and behind me along the way - I know that pain won’t last too long.
