Miramont Castle Museum / Manitou Springs Historical Society invites you to experience American history through a remarkable collection of U.S. postage stamps.

Spanning Indigenous cultures, the founding of the nation, westward expansion, the Civil War, women’s suffrage, two World Wars, Civil Rights, the Space Race, and the modern era, this exhibition reveals how America has chosen to commemorate its people, events, achievements, and defining moments.

An immersive and mysterious experience with haunting melodies, a dramatic reading of one of Edgar Allan Poe's timeless works, captivating vignettes, tarot card readings, and other unexpected surprises. Guests will also enjoy an assortment of food and beverages, including a selection of Poe's favorite signature adult libations for purchase.

Miramont Castle is seeking creative submissions for our upcoming Love at the Castle event - February 12/13/14.

Submit your entries to [email protected].
Deadline for submission is Dec. 1.
Submission Guidelines:

• Scripts under 10 minutes
• Love songs or romantic music pieces
• Tales under 2,000 words
• Save stories in a Word document or PDF
• Ensure that your name and an email address are somewhere on the document
• Stories must fit the upcoming theme
• By submitting your story to us, you are confirming that you are the original creator of the story. If there are multiple authors, ALL must be included.
• We will consider entrants whose work has been entered and published elsewhere. However, please ensure you state where and when your story has been used elsewhere on the document.
