💚💛 Welcome to the Mustang Family, Kayla! 💛💚

Manitou Springs Elementary is excited to welcome Kayla as our new School Counselor!

Kayla earned her master's degree in Professional Counseling from Carlow University and has been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado since 2014. Most recently, she completed her graduate certificate in School Counseling from Denver Seminary, bringing both clinical expertise and a passion for supporting students to her new role.

Originally from outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kayla moved to Colorado in 2011. She is married to an Army veteran, is the proud mom of three children, and shares her home with "a lot of dogs!" When she's not at school, you'll likely find her dreaming about or visiting the beach. 🌊🐾

Kayla is excited to begin this next chapter at Manitou Springs Elementary, and we are thrilled to have her join our school community. Please join us in giving her a warm Mustang welcome! 🐎💚💛

Calling all future Mustangs ages 7–12 — come join Manitou players and coaches for three fun-filled mornings of baseball! Campers will have the opportunity to run, hit, field, pitch, and learn from current Manitou athletes and coaches. 🐎

A great time was had at Field Day! A big thank you to our PE teacher, Tiffany Allen, for planning such a fun day, and to all the staff and volunteers who helped make it happen.

As a special bonus, the entire school also performed Our Place in the Peaks and shared the mural with families. It was a wonderful day celebrating our students and a fabulous school year!

Field Day is a go!

We are going to move forward with Field Day today with a few adjustments due to the weather forecast. The morning schedule will likely remain the same. Lunch will be served in the cafeteria, as thunderstorms are predicted.

Families come join us for the “Our Place in the Peaks” performance in the auditorium at noon.

The afternoon schedule will remain weather contingent. If we experience lightning or heavy rain, we will make additional adjustments as needed. Thank you for your flexibility and positive attitude as we work through Colorado weather together!

Looking for a fun, supportive, and competive swim team? Come join the Manitou Megalodons! Whether you're a seasoned swimmer or just getting started, we'd love to have you in the pool with the team. Great teammates, hard work, and lost of fun - come make waves with the Megalodons!

Summer practices: Monday thru Thursday
Swim meets: Saturdays

Since 2024, we have focused on nurturing young athletes in the Manitou community through professional coaching, expert skill development, and a shared passion for competitive excellence.
