Thanks to the Wisconsin Main Street & Connect Communities program and the City of Manitowoc for the award of cash and design services! We can't wait to have a beer in their outdoor space!

ATTENTION DOWNTOWN - The Maritime Bay Classic presented by Shipbuilders Credit Union is coming to town this Sunday, June 16th and there will be limited parking on downtown streets.

There will be "no parking" signs posted on the course before the vent, but there will be no parking or driving on the streets highlighted in red below from 8:00 AM until 9:00 PM.

You can still access area businesses and walk throughout the area - we will have crossing guards help to ensure safe passage throughout the day.

The Maritime Bay Classic presented by Shipbuilders Credit Union will be happening ALL DAY on Sunday, June 16th. The first race begins at 11:30 AM and the last race ends around 8:15 PM. Stop down to join enjoy the action any time!

The kids race will be during Community Hour at 6:00 PM. During this hour, there will be both a kid’s race and fat bike race open to community members.

The kid’s race is open to children ages 4-13 competing in three age groups. They will be split into three groups based on age, and the race length will differ depending on the group they are in (see picture 2).

ALL participating children will be entered into a raffle to win a new bike provided by Broken Spoke Bike Studio worth $650 👀 🚲 👏

The Maritime Bay Classic 🚴‍♀️ 🚴 is near, and we need your help! We are looking for volunteers to help make this a fun, safe event. 👚 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗧-𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗥𝗧 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀!

That's right friends, the Maritime Bay Classic is coming soon! Described as the "NASCAR of bike races" this family-friendly event is loads of fun for both young and old!

Volunteers will be stationed on the street corners to keep an eye out for any incidents and to help people cross the street between races. You can bring a camp chair if you'd like to sit and relax on your corner between the action.

Volunteer shifts for this event are in three-hour slots (you can choose 11 AM - 2 PM, 2 - 5 PM, or 5-8 PM). We will have two people on each corner, so feel free to sign up with a friend!

We request that volunteers be 16+, and all are welcome. This would be a great way to get in some service hours if you need them to graduate!
