What does conservation look like in a year?
In 2025, it looked like practices installed across Manitowoc County, nutrients kept where crops can use them, sediment kept out of waterways, and landowners, farmers, staff, partners, and community members all doing their part to protect our soil and water resources.
Our 2025 Annual Report is complete, and this impact page gives a quick snapshot of the work accomplished this past year — including conservation practices installed and estimated phosphorus, nitrogen, and sediment reductions.
These numbers represent more than a report. They represent field visits, planning conversations, grant support, technical assistance, farmer leadership, landowner commitment, and partnerships that help protect the resources we all depend on.
A sincere thank you to everyone who contributed to this work in 2025.
