📍 Coats for Kids Spotlight: Custer Street & Southwest Manitowoc

Did you know Coats for Kids has six donation locations throughout Southwest Manitowoc?

Whether you're grabbing breakfast, getting your car washed, heading to an appointment, or stopping by work, you can easily help local children stay warm this winter.

🎄🧥 Need Help This Holiday Season? Applications Are Open! 🧥🎄

The Salvation Army of Manitowoc County is now accepting applications for both Toys for Tots 2026 and Coats for Kids 2026.

Don't wait to apply! Space is limited for both Christmas Assistance and Coats for Kids. Apply early to give your family the best opportunity to receive assistance this season. Applications require online registration, verification documents, and email communication for approval updates.

Both programs use the same verification documents for each child:
✅ SNAP, FoodShare, or Medicaid benefit letter
✅ School record showing the child's address
✅ Mail from the child's doctor's office or school
✅ WIC eligibility notice
✅ Documentation of custody, guardianship, or foster care placement
✅ Other mail showing the child's name and address

After applying, please watch your email carefully. Approved applicants will receive an email with important information, instructions, and next steps. Christmas Assistance approval emails include program assignment, pickup details, and distribution information.

Diapers & Wipes for The Crossing
The Crossing of Manitowoc County has specifically requested diaper sizes 2, 3, and 5. We’re collecting diapers and wipes throughout October. Place donations in the bin in the Gathering Space under the bulletin board.

Coats for Kids
Help keep children warm this winter by donating coats for the The Salvation Army Manitowoc County's Coats for Kids collection through October 29. Bins are in the Gathering Space.

A package of diapers, wipes, or a warm coat can ease the burden on a family. Thank you for helping St. Peter the Fisherman put our respect for life into action!
