🎉 End-of-Year Awards Celebration at Madison Elementary 🎉

Yesterday, we had the privilege of recognizing students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement, growth, leadership, and character throughout the school year.

🎨 Artist Award

We also celebrated a very special milestone by presenting our WIDA Award to a student who successfully graduated from the English Learner (EL) program. This achievement reflects years of hard work, perseverance, and dedication.

We are incredibly proud of all of our award recipients and the positive impact they have made on our school community. Thank you to our families, teachers, and staff for supporting our students every step of the way.

Congratulations, Madison Elementary students! We hope you have a wonderful summer and look forward to seeing all the amazing things you accomplish in the future. 🌟

Mrs. Endries' 2nd grade class took a trip to the School Forest to celebrate a fantastic year of learning and growing together! They spent time exploring the beach, forest, pond, and sand dunes! Castles were built, holes were dug, and friendships were made!

On Friday, fifth graders spent the day at the School Forest participating in a pond study, orienteering, tree planting, and beach activities. It was a fun-filled day of learning, teamwork, and outdoor adventure—a perfect way to wrap up their elementary school years!

Our 5th graders had a SWEET day of adventure! 🍦☀️

We kicked things off with a visit to Beerntsen's for some delicious sweets and treats, where plenty of smiles (and ice cream!) were enjoyed. Afterward, we headed to the park for a picnic lunch, soaking up the sunshine and spending time together outdoors.

It's always great to make memories beyond the classroom, and today was filled with laughter, friendship, and fun! 💙💛

🌞🍔🌭 Madison Elementary kicked off the last full week of school with a special cookout lunch! Students enjoyed a beautiful day outside in the sunshine, sharing cheeseburgers, hot dogs, watermelon, and ice cream with friends and staff.

It was the perfect way to celebrate the excitement of the season and make some wonderful memories as the school year winds down. Here's to a fantastic final week of school! ☀️🍉🍦

Each week, we recognize students who live out the core values of our Character Strong program:

Staff hand out Ship’s Compass slips to students who exemplify these traits. Each week, two students per grade level are randomly chosen to win a prize! 🎉

We were so excited to welcome the Manitowoc Public Library to our school today as they shared all the amazing details about this year’s Summer Reading Program! From exciting books and activities to awesome prizes, there’s something for every reader to enjoy this summer. 🎉📖

Last week, our 4th graders had an amazing time on their field trip to Pinecrest Historical Village! 🏡✨ Students explored history hands-on, learned about life from the past, and made some wonderful memories together.

We are especially proud to share that we even received a phone call from the village praising our students for how respectful, kind, and well-behaved they were throughout the visit! 👏💙

Great job, 4th graders — you represented our school so well!
