⚠️Drive Safely, Jewell County

Since October 1, deputies with the Jewell County Sheriff's Office have investigated seven traffic accidents across the county.

Fortunately, none of these incidents involved injuries, but each one serves as a reminder of how quickly things can happen on the road.

We urge everyone to slow down, avoid distractions and buckle up—every trip, every time. A few extra seconds of caution can prevent a lifetime of regret.

Let's all do our part to keep Jewell County's roads safe for everyone.

📢 *NOTICE* 🚴🚴‍♂️

Tuesday, June 10th, there will be approx. 500 bicyclists with Biking Across Kansas riding through Jewell County. They will be headed up Hwy 14 after leaving Beloit & stay in Mankato overnight.

Wednesday morning when they leave, they will be headed East on Hwy 36 for their next stop in Washington.

Please use caution & give yourself extra time to travel. We need to share the road with them and keep everyone safe!
