The pool will be closed today from 6pm to 6:30pm due to lack of staff at the pool. We will reopen at 6:30 and be open until 10pm. Sorry for the inconvenience.

We had a bicycle and a backpack left behind at the city park. They have been brought into the city office. If you are missing one or both of these items, stop by the City of Mankato to claim.

The city would like to thank Brynlee and Hazel Jeffery, and Mallory and Jack Underwood for coming down to the park this morning to clean up trash from the 4th of July Celebration. We appreciate it!

The City of Mankato would like to express our regrets and apologies for not getting the flags up downtown for 4th of July. That was unacceptable and we will work to do better in the future. With that being said, we appreciate the community coming out to celebrate 4th of July at the park. Thank you to everyone who made the event a reality.
