Future Scarlets Basketball Camp
Get ready to dribble, shoot, pass, and play! Future Scarlets Basketball Camp is the perfect place for young athletes to learn the fundamentals of basketball in a fun and encouraging environment. Campers will build skills, learn the rules of the game, and put their practice into action with scrimmages each day!
Led by current coaches from the Mankato West Girls' Basketball program, this camp is great for beginners and players looking to grow their confidence on the court.

West girls entering grades 6–12 — get ready to level up your game this summer! This high-energy camp is designed for athletes who want to sharpen their skills, build confidence, and prepare for a successful basketball season.

Led by experienced coaches from the Mankato West Girls' Basketball program, players will focus on:

🔥 Ball handling & passing
🔥 Creating space & attacking gaps
🔥 Defensive skills & court awareness

🌟Congratulations to our 2026 Spirit Of Youth Honorees. On Wednesday, May 27, 2026 the Mankato Community Education Advisory Council recognized the following youth and adult honorees. These "Youth Development Heroes" represent the core values of Mankato Area Public Schools: Courage, Integrity, Accountability, and Inclusive Practices. The awards were presented by multi term members of the Mankato Community Education Advisory Council, Jim Roy and Dana Niu, and event Emcee, Lynn Waterbury.
