🔨She Nailed It - The Progress Continues!

Another week of She Nailed It is in the books, and these women are making some serious strides! 💪🏠

One of our favorite parts of this event is watching each team pick up where the women before left off. One row, one wall, one pour, and one build day at a time, we're getting closer to the moment a local family gets to call these lots home.

Day 4: EI Microcircuits
Returning for their third year! EI Microcircuits wrapped up our first week of She Nailed It, and they certainly didn't slow down at the finish line! This team finished the foundation blocks and tackled a major job-site cleanup before calling it a day. Thanks to their hard work, the site was left in a great position for the next big milestone - concrete! 🔨

🥪A huge thank you to Boulder Taphouse for keeping this hardworking crew fueled! Lunch was an absolute delight.

Day 5: Brennan Companies
Year 4 & this team is no stranger to the She Nailed process. Kicking off week 2, Monday brought one of those classic construction days—hurry up and wait... and then GO! The Brennan Construction team finished preparations for the concrete pour, and once the pump truck and concrete trucks arrived, it was officially all hands on deck.
Our crew reported that everyone did a fantastic job and the pour went off without an issue. Another HUGE step forward for this Habitat home! 🏡

🥪Thank you to Atomic Star for treating our crew to lunch! Atomic went above and beyond to cater to dietary restrictions and a variety of options for these ladies.

Day 6: WEB Construction, Inc.
New day. New build site!🔨
With concrete recently poured in Nicollet, we kicked off day 6 by heading to our Veterans build site in Eagle Lake. Web Construction joined us for their FIRST She Nailed It experience, and they came ready to WORK. Starting the morning with essentially zero foundation complete, this team of four got the foundation HALFWAY DONE in a single build day!

This is what She Nailed It is all about—showing up, trying something new, working together, and getting your hands dirty for a pretty incredible reason.

🥪Thank you to Benedicts for fueling another fantastic build day! It was fun to switch up lunch to BRUNCH! A great dining spot if you're looking for delicious gluten-free options.

To every woman who has built with us, every business that not only donates but lets its employees participate, and every restaurant that has donated a meal to keep our crews going—THANK YOU.

Stay tuned... we've got plenty more She Nailed It to come! 🔨💙
Progress updates for MEI Team 1 and Community Bank Mankato Area are coming your way!

It was such a fantastic day welcoming the WEB Construction, Inc. team to our She Nailed It build site. Due to the hard work and dedication of teams 1-5 at our Nicollet home, Web Construction moved to our Veterans' Build in Eagle Lake and started from square one! They absolutely crushed it.

Stay tuned as we recap the last three teams. These women are moving us along, and we cannot wait to see the end results after 5 weeks!👏🏼

She Nailed It is officially underway!🔨

On August 17, we kicked off five weeks of welcoming incredible female leaders from across our community to the build site.

We are so grateful for the volunteers who give their time and the businesses that support their teams in stepping away for a day to help turn a plot of land into a place a family will call home.🏡

Day 1: We welcomed the FOCP BackPack Food Program to the build site for their first She Nailed It debut. The weather was perfect, with bright sunshine and maybe a touch of sunburn as a result. These ladies tackled an important challenge - laying the first row of FoxBlocks to begin building the foundation. If one thing is off, the entire house will be off. The FOCP was patient, hard-working, and consistently met their tasks. They went on to complete almost 2 entire rows!
A huge THANK YOU to the Wooden Spoon for fueling the team that helps feed our students through their backpack program.

Day 2: Countryside Refrigeration & Heating, LLC may be new to the She Nailed It experience, but this company is no stranger to rolling up their sleeves and volunteering with our crew. What a fun group; they were ready to jump in and get started. This team finished off row two of the Fox Blocks and set row 3. These lovely ladies enjoyed a delicious meal from our friends at Pub 500. Thank you for keeping them fed & happy!

Day 3: ISG Team 1 - There is something very special about this company, and we are forever grateful. They've shown up for our organization and have participated in She Nailed It 5 years in a row, typically with 2-3 teams! These women were having an absolute blast while making such great progress. Rows 3 and 4 of the FoxBlocks were set, rebar placed, and monkeys connected.
The fantastic lunch meal was provided by Ummie's Bar and Grill, with those Ummie's chips and dip.. an absolute staple.

Stay tuned for tomorrow's update as EI Microcircuits wrapped up week one!

Tonight one of our upcoming homeBUYERS was honored with bikes for her and her family thanks to the efforts of those who coordinate the Bike.Build.Home 500 Bike Ride.
On top of that, 4 bike riders chose to build rather than bike today and volunteered alongside our Construction Supervisor, Chad and top volunteer Jim on Lisa’s house.
