🔥🛠️ What a great student teacher moment at FEDCC! 🛠️🔥 Our Level 3 Welding students are completing their pathway by earning American Welding Society (AWS) and NCCER certifications while showcasing the skills they have mastered throughout the program. Their final project, The Hot Box, was built completely from scratch and demonstrates the craftsmanship, precision, and dedication they have developed in the welding lab. 🔥 Now fully painted and ready to cook up a meal, this custom grill is proof that hands on learning produces real results. Congratulations to our students and instructor, Mr. Cooper, for turning hard work into success and preparing the next generation of skilled trades professionals! 👏⚙️🔥 Not only can Mr. Cooper weld, but he can cook!!! 👨🏾‍🍳 🍔🔥🛠️

💚 Promoting Mental Wellness at F.E. DuBose Career Center 🧠✨

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, we were honored to welcome our district social workers and representatives from Clarendon Mental Health to speak with students and staff about the importance of mental wellness. 💚

During their visit, they shared valuable information and practical tips on managing stress, building healthy coping skills, recognizing the importance of self-care, and knowing when and how to seek support. These conversations help remind our students that mental health matters just as much as physical health.

Thank you to our social workers and county mental health representatives for taking the time to educate, encourage, and support our students and school community. 🧠✨

Several of our District National Technical Honor Society students volunteered today at the 15th Annual Think Pink Cancer Overcomer Walk/Run. 🎗️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Judge Elease Fulton and organizer Annett Smith expressed their appreciation for our students serving beyond the walls of their schools and giving back to the community. 👏🏼 A special thank you to Mrs. Ladell Grice, NTHS Advisor, for instilling the importance of community service and leadership in our students. 🌟

We proudly salute our local law enforcement agencies as our F.E. DuBose Career Center Law Enforcement Program hosted its Annual Law Enforcement Luncheon in recognition of National Police Week. 💙🚔

The event was a wonderful opportunity for our students to connect with the dedicated men and women who serve and protect our communities each day. We are grateful for the continued support, mentorship, and partnership our law enforcement agencies provide as they help inspire and shape the next generation of public safety professionals.

As we celebrated this special occasion, we also took time to honor and remember the brave officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Their courage, service, and commitment will never be forgotten. 🖤💙

A special thank you to Attorney Shaun Kent for serving as our guest speaker, our community partners for their support, and our Law Enforcement Instructor, Mrs. Ladell Grice, for her outstanding leadership and dedication to our students and program.

We would also like to recognize our CCSD Nutrition Staff and Culinary Arts Program for preparing an amazing meal for the occasion, while the talented Manning High School Jazz Ensemble set the perfect atmosphere with smooth tunes throughout the event. 🖤💛🎶
