Tonight, MJHS took home 2 awards at the Best of Clarendon event, hosted by The Sumter Item!

Thank you all who voted Manning Junior High School as the Best Public School! This recognition reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our students, faculty, staff, families, and community.

We would also like to congratulate Dr. Anthony Williams (Dr. A) on being selected as Best School Administrator! Dr. A's leadership, vision, and commitment to student success continue to make a positive impact throughout our school and district.

This summer, ClarendonCSD Nutrition Services is helping keep children fueled and ready for fun with FREE breakfast and lunch for all children 18 years old and under!

📅 June 3-30, 2026
📍 Meals will be served Monday - Thursday at designated school sites throughout the district.

Whether your child is attending summer programs or simply needs a healthy meal, we’re here to help ensure every child has access to nutritious food.

On Wednesday, May 27, we proudly celebrated the accomplishments of our scholars during the 6th and 7th Grade Awards Program and the 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony!

A special thank you to our student leaders who helped make the ceremonies memorable:

Attention current 7th and 8th grade boys! Come put in the work and get ready for basketball season at our Summer Open Gym sessions.
