Clarendon School District Two The Mission of Clarendon School District Two is Educating Children. Our student population is approximately 2,900 students.

Clarendon School District Two is a public school district that serves pre-K through 12 grade students. Our goals are to educate students and supply them with the skills needed to be successful. We accomplish this through the integration of technology and other resources in the classrooms, collaborative learning experiences and extra curricular activities such as sports, JRROTC, band, and school af

filiated clubs. Clarendon School District Two is located in Manning, SC. We are a Local Education Agency, comprised of Six Schools: Manning Early Childhood Center, Manning Primary School, Manning Elementary School, Manning Jr. High School, Manning High School and Manning Optional Education Center.

Thank you to our Custodians for all of the hard work that you do for our schools. You are responsible for more than just sweeping floors, wiping tables, and hitting the lights at the end of the day. In providing a clean and safe environment, custodians help enhance the physical well-being of all our students. You work extra long hours either during class or after-school activities, thinking of having to clean up one more stomped milk carton or seeing your cleaned spaces get demolished in a day.
We appreciate all you do to keep our students' and staff areas clean and comfortable for all. Be assured that your hard work is definitely noticed every day and that for the next 3 weeks, your work areas will stay squeaky clean. Relax! You deserve it!

Clarendon School District Two Board of Trustees held their final meeting last night at Manning High School's Lecture Hall. This Friday, July 1st will be the first official beginning day of the Clarendon County School District.
We appreciate that the CSD2 Board of Trustees have dedicated many years to bringing "Excellence in the AIR...Accountability, Integrity, & Respect" for our students and staff.

Congratulations Monti!! We are so proud of you!
DeMonti Miller was recognized in The Item for his F.E. Dubose Work-Based Learning Student of the year award. Miller's worksite was the Manning Police Department where he served more than 265 hours during his internship. Miller was also recognized by the South Carolina Education and Business Summit in Greenville. Miller is shown with the teacher for the Law Enforcement Services Program, Ladell Grice.

Demonti Miller, a student at the F.E. DuBose Career Center in its Law Enforcement Services Program, was selected as the Work-Based Learning Student of the Year for the Santee Lynches Region which includes Sumter, Lee, Kershaw and Clarendon counties. …

Mrs. Marie Land and Mrs. Amy Land finished this year at MECC teaching the summer school students how to design creative butterflies at the garden class. Mrs. Amy Land served the students watermelon slices. After the students finished their butterflies, they went harvesting with McClendon, who then explained the compost bins and why we use them. Then they all went to lunch and enjoyed a great meal! Two more days of summer school!

Sharon P. Miller, Executive Director of Clarendon County First Steps to School Readiness, is a member of SIC as Chair-Elect at Manning Early Child Center.
Elizabeth Ann Geddings is a teacher assistant at Clarendon Christian Learning Center and is Manning Primary School's SIC Member and Vice Chair.
