Travis County Emergency Services District 12 Travis County ESD No.12 was created in 1996 after voters approved the change from Rural Fire Protection District No.9.

Travis County Emergency Services District No.12 encompasses 95 square miles of northeast Travis County that include the City of Manor and the Village of Webberville.

🏃‍♂️🚒 Fire Engineer Juan Garcia and Firefighter Julian Miller represented at the inaugural First Due 5K Run hosted by the Texas Public Safety Training Academy!

The fire service is built on brotherhood, and that extends far beyond the fireground. Whether responding to emergencies, training together, or supporting events like this, firefighters share a commitment to serving their communities and supporting the next generation of first responders.

Registration proceeds from the 5K help fund public safety training scholarships, providing future firefighters with opportunities to begin their careers in service to others.

We’re proud to have participated in an event that invests in the future of public safety. 🤝

Over the weekend, the Round Rock Fire Department lost one of our own. Fire Driver Zach French served this community alongside the men and women of RRFD for nearly 19 years, and his loss is being felt throughout our department and the public safety community.

We are grateful for the support shown by neighboring agencies, our fellow employees, hospital staff and the community during this difficult time. Many community members may have noticed neighboring agencies assisting with emergency response coverage or gatherings of our firefighters over the past several days. These acts of support allowed our firefighters the opportunity to be together and support one another, and we are deeply appreciative of everyone who made that possible.

Out of respect for the family, we will not be sharing additional details at this time. We ask that you keep Zach’s family, friends and fellow firefighters in your thoughts and prayers.

Today’s finally holiday crew spotlight is running out of our newest Fire Station 1204 located at 12701 HWY 290 E, Manor, TX! The crew is Battalion Chief Ashley Brackett, Captain Billy Burch, Fire Engineers Preston Muston, Zulema Dominguez and Jeremy Holz, and Firefighters Judah Villalobos, Dylan Bogard, and Aidan Higginbotham.

As the holiday weekend winds down and celebrations continue into the night, help keep your family and community safe by slowing down on the roads, properly extinguishing outdoor grilling fires, and checking fireworks laws before lighting anything off. 🎆🚒🌙

Medical Officers Freddie Garcia and Randy Treffer spent time with the staff of St. Joseph Catholic Church, teaching TAKE10 CPR and hands-on AED familiarization. 🚑🫀
