Host Rodney Schuster, Executive Director Catholic Charities Diocese of Toledo, talks with Deacon Ed Irelan, our Jail & Prison Ministry Program Coordinator, and two former inmates who are now living their faith as changed men.

The annual St. Peter’s “Race Against Hunger” Iditarod took place April 28 under sunny skies. Teams of high school students raced through the streets collecting food for Catholic Charities' HOPE pantry. Prior to hitting the streets, they converged in the gymnasium, where students from every grade performed an educational skit for fellow students, followed by a basketball “hoop shoot.” This year’s event netted both food and monetary donations totaling over $8000.00. Our heartfelt thanks to the students and staff for their hard work and dedication to this worthy cause.
