"Everyone at Catholic Charities looks forward to Make A Difference Day!" says Ian Chambers, Catholic Charities HOPE Food Pantry Specialist in Mansfield. "The community donations are greatly appreciated!"

Our choice pantry is especially in need of canned meats, cream soups, cereal, great northern beans (canned or bags), black and pinto beans, canned ravioli, ramen noodles, spaghetti sauce and women's hygiene products.

The Annual Make A Difference Day Food Drive is set for Friday, Oct. 23 from 7-10 a.m. in front of DLK/Dan Lew Exchange on North Park Street on the Square. Donations can also be dropped off directly at Catholic Charities Hope Pantry at 523 Park Avenue East from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The 23rd annual Make A Difference Day Food Drive is set for Oct. 23 from 7-10 a.m. in front of DLK/Dan Lew Exchange on North Park Street on the square.

Please help us re-stock our shelves! The following non-perishable food items are needed at this time. You can drop these donations off when our Hope Pantry is open: Mondays - 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.;
Tuesdays + Fridays - 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; and Thursdays - 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thank you for helping to feed our neighbors in need!

All Aboard! For our annual Volunteer Appreciation event held this year at the Buckeye Express Diner in Bellville, Ohio! Half-pound hamburgers and hand-cut fries were on the menu, with hand-made sugar cookies for dessert.

Richland County came out in floods to support Coney Fest. The proceeds culminated in a $2,000 check for HOPE Food Pantry.

The annual National Letter Carriers' Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive will take place this Saturday, May 9, 2026. The HOPE Food Pantry benefits greatly from this event. Local residents can participate by leaving bags of non-perishable food next to their mailboxes for collection by letter carriers. Thanks for your support.
