Partner Spotlight: Welcoming Director Tina L. Turner
Richland County Children Services (RCCS) is proud to extend our heartfelt thanks to Director Tina L. Turner, the new leader of the The Domestic Violence Shelter of Richland County, Ohio, for taking the time to meet with our Community Engagement team Community Engagement Support Paula Caldwell and Community Engagement Supervisor Brigitte Coles.
During our visit, we had the pleasure of learning more about Director Turner’s vision for the shelter and her passion for serving survivors of domestic violence. With more than 30 years of experience in public service and program management — including executive leadership, public health program development, strategic planning, grant administration, program evaluation, health equity, operational improvement, and stakeholder collaboration — she brings a wealth of expertise and a deep commitment to making a difference.
As a warm welcome, our team presented Director Turner with a gift bag filled with thoughtful items to celebrate her arrival in our community. More importantly, we began building the foundation for a strong partnership focused on raising awareness about domestic violence and promoting child abuse prevention.
Domestic violence has a profound impact on children who witness or experience it, and together, we are committed to protecting those children, supporting survivors, and strengthening families across Richland County. By combining our resources, expertise, and outreach efforts, we can amplify awareness, inspire action, and create lasting change.
