Kingwood Center Gardens is a charitable not-for-profit public garden and historic estate created by Charles Kelley King for education, enjoyment and inspiration. Kingwood has ever-changing gardens for the pleasure and education of our guests. Spring features a massive display of flowering bulbs, flowering trees and wildflowers. Seasonal beds offer a second major color display from early summer unt

il frost. An abundance of additional gardens and natural areas round out the display to provide year-round interest. Our Garden & Gift Shop offers shopping opportunities of plants, garden supplies, gifts, apparel, and unique consignment items. The Gateway Café serves up fresh food, snacks, and beverages for the whole family. In the midst of this former estate sits Kingwood Hall, Mr. King’s former home. 🌿🐢 The Richland Soil and Water Conservation District gave a capstone lesson today for this week's Kingwood Kids Summer Camp theme: Ponds and Beyond!

💧 Campers learned about pond ecosystems and water quality, using special equipment to analyze water in the Duck Pond. Along the way, they even discovered a baby turtle! 🐢✨

🦗 Earlier this week, campers explored the adjacent Toby’s Run stream and Kingwood’s Nature Pond, getting up close with insects, aquatic creatures, and the wonders of local ecosystems.

The Integrated Rose Garden is bursting with color, featuring hybrid, miniature, heirloom, and many other varieties of roses, along with beautiful companion plants now in bloom. ✨🌿

Come see it for yourself and enjoy a stroll through the gardens!

As you enter the Integrated Rose Garden from the Courtyard, you'll be greeted by the stunning Chorinea Butterfly on a Leaf sculpture from Glass in Flight! 🦋✨
