Congratulations, Stephanie McKnight, for being named one of MISD's 2021 Distinguished Educators! The Education Foundation is proud to recognize you for the impact you make on your students.

Madison adds, "When I walked into Mrs. McKnight’s class on the first day of sophomore year, I was expecting to go through the semester unnoticed and finish out my language credit. I wasn’t expecting to develop a passion for Deaf culture or find a sense of community, but Mrs. McKnight changed my perspective. She has taught me so much about faith and what it means to advocate for those who may not be able to use their voice. For that, I’m forever grateful."
