Our community is known for its hometown feel and a major part of that is the way that our community partners help those in need and lift up all our neighbors.

Licensing isn’t just a must-do, it’s a chance to make sure your furry pals are easily found if they ever go on a solo adventure.

You can handle pet licensing online (https://bit.ly/MACC_PetLicense) or swing by Mansfield Animal Care & Control at 407 Industrial Drive.

Licensing is normally $5-$15, but we are waiving the cost for the months of August and September!

Mansfield Animal Shelter is also offering FREE microchips for Mansfield pets. Why microchip? Because a microchip is a permanent form of identification that can't be lost or removed, increasing the chances of being reunited with your pet if they ever get lost. Unlike collars and tags, which can fall off or be removed, a microchip is embedded under your pet's skin and registered with your contact information. This simple, quick procedure can make all the difference in ensuring your furry friend finds their way back home. Take advantage of this offer to give your pet an extra layer of security!

Happy anniversary, Mansfield!

We hope you join us and celebrate Founders' Day on Oct. 5. See the shared post for more details.

Happy anniversary, Mansfield! On this day 134 years ago, the Town of Mansfield was incorporated. The Texas State Gazetteer described the town as "prosperous", as it had four churches, two schools, two mills, a cotton gin, and numerous retail businesses. The population at the time was 418 people.

We'll be celebrating Mansfield's founding from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 5 at our Founders' Day Festival at the Man House Museum, 604 W. Broad St. We'll have FREE, fun, and exciting activities, including old-fashioned games, candle dipping, period cooking, quilting, spinning, dancing, and more.
