Good evening everyone,

We hope that everyone is staying warm!

After considering the weather and the impact it has played so far on many families, we have decided to allow everyone to stay home out of the office tomorrow.

We will still accept calls as we always do. Any calls pertaining to the funeral home will be directed to our funeral directors on call and any calls pertaining to scheduling cemetery arrangements will be directed to the correct personnel.

We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause however everyone’s safety is our top priority.

Thank you all!

Hello everyone, here is the latest requirement and guideline that we will have to abide by. Beginning Friday evening 6-26-2020 it will be mandatory that Anyone that is planning on coming to Skyvue inside the Funeral Home will be required to wear mask. This will apply to all services conducted inside of the facility. In regards to attendance outside we strongly suggest that everyone keep social distance and especially in large gatherings wear a mask.

The 50 person limit is still in effect for any services conducted inside of the facility.

We are trying to stay positive and up to the mandatory requirements thank you for all for understanding.

Regarding MEMORIAL DAY 2020,

In light of the recent situation and all of the restrictions that have come along with COVID-19, we as a company have chosen to cancel our annual Memorial Day event this year. As much as we love to celebrate and honor those who have fought and paid the ultimate sacrifice for us and our country, the safety of our community and staff is of utmost importance and we hope that you all can understand our decision. We wish everyone a safe weekend! Once again we offer our sincerest thank you and utmost respect to all of the fallen soldiers and their families.

COVID-19 Announcement

Office: (817) 478-6955 Fax: (817) 478-3730

UPDATED ON May 9, 2020

Re: This is for any services whether COVID-19 related or not.

WE ARE HOLDING SERVICES INSIDE OF OUR FACILITY! MAXIMUM WILL BE 50 PEOPLE UNTIL THESE RESTRICTIONS ARE LIFTED.

It has been mandated that gatherings will be limited to 25% of our maximum capacity which is now 50 people including the minister(s) and two funeral home staff. This does include any graveside services conducted by Skyvue Funeral Home.

At-need families, We do offer Docusign electronic document signing where we can email all of the documents to the authorizing agent. We want to take this extra step to keep our families at a lesser risk as well as our staff so that we can continue to serve all of our families and do our part in helping to calm and eventually flatten the curve.

For those that may not have access to a computer, we can have the documents ready for you to sign at our front desk and bring them to your vehicle. Those that desire to meet in person, with respect there will be a limit of two people that may come in to make arrangements. We hope by taking these steps we can continue to support our families and community during this time.

We strongly urge anyone who does not feel well, has a cough, fever, runny nose or any symptoms that could have a negative affect of the other attendees to stay home and offer support and condolences from a respectable distance.

We do not want to deprive anyone of a respectable service and we will offer families the option of a private family service followed by a possible memorial service at a later time where more guests could attend.

Any confirmed cases of Covid-19 will be limited to a graveside service or direct cremation. This has been a real stressful time for everyone and our job is to make this time less stressful and we will do everything in our power to continue giving people the peace of mind when we have the opportunity to guide them.

Sincerely,

Skyvue Staff & The Estes Family

Update on Funeral Services March 20, 2020

Here at Skyvue Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, We are now putting a limit on the number of guests allowed to attend services at this time.

It has been mandated that gatherings will be limited to 10 attendees. This does include any graveside services conducted by Skyvue Funeral Home. With that being stated, we are postponing any services inside the Funeral Home including Memorial Services, Celebration of Life Services, Chapel Services, Visitations, Private identifications or any other form of service inside the facility.

At-need families, We do offer Docusign electronic document signing where we can email all of the documents to the authorizing agent and lessen the gathering of guests inside of our facility. We want to take this extra step to keep our families at a lesser risk as well as our staff so that we can continue to serve all of our families and do our part in helping to calm and eventually stop the spread of the virus.

For those that may not have access to a computer, we can have the documents ready for you to sign at our front desk and bring them to your vehicle.

Those that have to meet in person, with respect there will be a limit of two people that may come in to make arrangements.

Any confirmed cases of Covid-19 will be suggested to be restricted to family only and have a possible memorial service to follow. This has been a real stressful time for everyone and our job is to make this time less stressful and we will do everything in our power to continue giving people the peace of mind when we have the opportunity to guide them.

Sincerely,
Skyvue Staff & The Estes Family

Although this has not been made mandatory, we strongly advise guests to keep in mind that there is a real risk to everyone. The recommended limit is half of our capacity which would be 100 guests for a chapel service. We definitely want the best for every family and each guests that attend services. At this time we can only suggest that people avoid attending services if you have any symptoms of ill health. Here is the most up to date information that we have received.

Here at Skyvue Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, We are now putting a limit on the number of guests allowed to attend services at this time.

It has been mandated that gatherings will be limited to 50% of our max capacity or up to 125 guests, with our Victoria Chapel seating up to 200 guests the maximum number of attendees can not exceed 100.

We strongly urge anyone who does not feel well, has a cough, fever, runny nose or any symptoms that could have a negative affect of the other attendees to stay home and offer support and condolences from a respectable distance.

Realistically there are normally numerous guests over the age of 60 and we DO NOT want to cause any harm to them (per the CDC Guidelines, “Older adults and people who have severe underlying chronic medical conditions like heart or lung disease or diabetes seem to be at higher risk for developing more serious complications from COVID-19 illness.”

We do not want to deprive anyone of a respectable service and we will offer families the option of a private family service followed by a possible memorial service at a later time where more guests could attend.

Are you and your family ready for the financial burden of a funeral on top of the loss of a loved one?

We want to help lessen that burden by informing you that you can lock in today’s prices by setting up preneed arrangements with one of our preneed advisors. We are family owned and operated and would like the opportunity to help you and your family lock in today’s prices with any type of funeral arrangement you may desire. The benefit of having our own cemetery is that we can lock in ALL pricing for the funeral service and cemetery arrangements whether it be for burial or for cremation and placement in one of our niche/ columnbariums.

Our goal is to make this time easier and with the help of you and your family we can definitely succeed in that aspect by providing exactly what your loved one desires.

Thank you to all that read this message and we will always try as hard as we can to provide the most respectable services possible for your loved one!

May God bless you all and remember, we are always here when you call! 24/7!

Hello everyone,

The entrance into the cemetery has been destroyed due to an accident in which the driver of the vehicle was unharmed. We will be working with the insurance company to get the entrance fixed as soon as possible. With the holidays there may be some delay. We do have to leave everything as is for right now so that the insurance company can see the damages. We will get it cleaned up as soon as we are allowed to.

We hope that everyone has a safe and Happy New Year!!
