We have seen some misinformation circulating regarding our COVID-19 vaccine clinic. At this time, our clinic is NOT offering the Pfizer-BioNTech pediatric COVID-19 vaccine, which the CDC recommended this week for children aged 5 to 11. We are waiting for a shipment of this vaccine to arrive and we will advise when we are able to offer it.

Our clinic continues to offer the Pfizer vaccine for individuals aged 12 and older, as well as the Moderna vaccine for individuals aged 18 and older, at no cost. If you are immunocompromised or high-risk and you received your second shot of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines at least eight months ago, you may sign up for a booster shot.

If you would like to receive a COVID-19 vaccine from our clinic, please sign up for an appointment at mansfieldtexas.gov/covidclinic. At this time, we are providing vaccines on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1305 E. Broad St.

Please call 817-728-3999 if you have any questions.

Shout out to Fire Station 2 for excellence in patient care. They ran a call recently on an elderly patient that fell complaining of hip pain. Thankfully they did a 12 lead EKG which revealed the likely cause of the fall. The patient was having a STEMI (heart attack). They activated the Cath Lab and the patient did great!

Another school year is fast approaching! Mansfield FD, PD and the Mansfield ISD appreciate your help in keeping our kids safe as they are shuttled throughout the city.

School buses will be active across the city picking up and dropping off children. Let's have a safe and great start to the year by reviewing traffic laws for stopped school buses. Remember, when a school bus has it's stop sign out, it's not a suggestion - it's the law!
