Just after 2 pm today, all campuses went on lockdown as a precaution to ensure student and staff safety. An incident occurred in town in proximity to the elementary campus. At no time was there a known threat at any campus, just a precaution until we knew more information. The lockdown was lifted about 20 min later without incident.

We were made aware that several Mansfield School District email accounts were compromised yesterday.

Please DO NOT click on suspicious or unexpected links sent from a district email account, even if the message appears to come from someone you know. If an email looks unusual, asks you to click a link, or doesn’t seem consistent with what you would normally receive from that person, please delete it.

We are addressing the affected accounts and taking appropriate steps to secure our email system.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s caution and understanding.

The Mansfield Tigers will treat fans to some Midnight Madness tonight as the Tigers officially kickoff the 2026 season with a midnight scrimmage.
