Reagan Legacy Republican Women

Reagan Legacy Republican Women We are a Texas Federation for Republican Women's Club. Men are also welcome! We care about our community and our country.

We meet on the first Monday of each month at 6:30pm at El Primo's in Mansfield, Texas. We are committed to making it possible for women across Tarrant County, Texas, to influence our local, state, and federal governments in making critical decisions in connection with education, healthcare, crime, taxation, and financial security. Our essential purpose is to educate and train Republican women to m

obilize, make their voices and concerns heard, elect productive Republicans, and actively participate in government. RLRW is also dedicated to encouraging our members and other Republican women to run for office. The members of RLRW are friends, family, and members of the community who share common values. More importantly, we want to take action to help shape our local, state, and federal governments to protect our families, community, and nation! The first House Committee on the Delivery of Government Efficiency (DOGE) hearing is officially in the books!

Over nearly 12 hours, we heard critical testimony from agencies that shape government efficiency, fiscal transparency, and innovation across Texas. A few include:

▫️The Sunset Advisory Committee β€” A valuable partner of this committee to conduct detailed audits of state agencies, providing crucial data.
▫️Texas Space Commission β€” Finding ways to drive investment in the space economy, keeping Texas at the forefront of global space leadership.
▫️Governor’s Small Business Freedom Council β€” Cutting red tape to empower entrepreneurs and fuel business growth.
▫️Teacher Retirement System and Employee Retirement System β€” Ensuring that their funds are managed in a way that maximizes benefits for retirement.
▫️State Auditor’s Office β€” Ensuring accountability and transparency in government spending.
▫️Texas Education Agency β€” Mike Morath, Commissioner of the Texas Education Agency, spoke on ways to enhance educational outcomes and guide school systems to better serve Texas students.

Texas is growing fast, and we must ensure our policies keep up. This committee will put in as many hours needed to promote efficiency, transparency, and smart governance in every sector. Thank you to Chairman Giovanni Capriglione for facilitating such productive discussion. I look forward to continuing to work with my colleagues to deliver real results for Texans.
