**Upcoming County Road Closure**

Rhinehart Road, between St Rt 97 and Appleseed Rd in Jefferson Township, will be CLOSED starting Wednesday, July 15 at 7:30 am, and will reopen on Thursday, July 16 at 4:00 pm. The closure will allow for a culvert replacement.

**Upcoming County Road Closure**

Marion Avenue Road, between Millsboro West Rd and Sherman Rd in Springfield Township, will be CLOSED starting Monday, July 13, and will remain closed for one hundred and twenty (120) days. The signed detour will utilize Millsboro West Rd and Lexington-Ontario Rd.

The closure will allow for a bridge replacement project.

**B&O Bike Trail Closure - REVISED**

The Richland B&O Bike Trail will remain OPEN at its crossing with Lexington-Springmill Road at Home Road until Tuesday, July 7. The Bike Trail will CLOSE on the morning of Tuesday, July 7 and will remain closed for ninety (90) days. The closure was originally scheduled for June 30.

The Bike Trail closure will allow for the installation of a bridge and a roundabout at the Lexington-Springmill Rd/Home Rd intersection.

**County Road Closure**

Just a reminder that Lexington-Springmill Rd and Home Rd CLOSED this morning for the construction of the roundabout project. The Richland County B&O Trail is still OPEN. The designated detour utilizes US 42, Trimble Road, and Park Avenue West. The County closure map can be found here:

**Upcoming County Road Closure**

LEXINGTON-SPRINGMILL ROAD, between Cook Rd and Marion Avenue Rd, and HOME ROAD, between Lexington-Springmill Rd and Marion Avenue Rd, will be CLOSED starting Monday, June 15, and will remain closed for one hundred and twenty (120) days. The signed detour will utilize Lexington Avenue (US-42), Trimble Rd, and Park Avenue West (St Rt 430).

The Richland B&O Bike Trail will initially remain OPEN at its crossing with Lexington-Springmill Road at Home Road. The Bike Trail will then CLOSE on Tuesday, June 30 and will remain closed for ninety (90) days. There is no detour available for the Bike Trail and thru access will not be available.

These closures will allow for the installation of two bridges and a roundabout at the Lexington-Springmill Rd/Home Rd intersection.

Our office has been notified by CSX Railroad that they will be closing the crossings on Stentz Road and Hummel Road beginning Tuesday, June 2. Closures are expected to last approximately three (3) days. We are aware that the Ohio Department of Transportation also has St Rt 61 closed and that Hummel Road is the most convenient detour. We requested that CSX delay their work on Hummel Road until St Rt 61 was open, but they will be moving forward with their project as originally planned. We know this will cause a major inconvenience for detoured traffic but please understand that railroad crossing closures are out of the County's control. Thank you.

**County Road Closure**

Rhinehart Road, between St Rt 97 and Possum Run Road in Jefferson Township, will have daily closures between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday thru Thursday (6/1/26 - 6/4/26), weather permitting. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained with flaggers. Please plan to use an alternate route if possible.

The closures will allow for pavement repairs in preparation for a resurfacing project later this summer/fall.

Possum Run Road, between Norris Rd and Teeter Rd in Worthington Township, will be CLOSED between the hours of 7:30 am and 1:30 pm on Wednesday, May 27. The closure will allow for an emergency tree removal.

Access for school and emergency vehicles will be maintained with flaggers. Please plan to use an alternate route if possible.

**County Road Open**

Hazel Brush Road, between Plymouth-Springmill Rd and Bowman Rd in Cass Township, is now OPEN. The road was originally closed in early April when a culvert was damaged by floodwaters.
