Mansfield Public Library The Mansfield Public Library: Serving the citizens of Mansfield since 1884 The Mansfield Public Library was established in 1884.

It is supported by tax dollars from the Town of Mansfield, donations from the Friends of the Library and some state aid. It is governed by a five member board of Trustees appointed by the Board of Selectmen and a member of SAILS, Inc., a cooperative system of public and school libraries in 60 communities.

COMING SOON!
Saturday, May 30th 1:00pm - The Buzz on Native Plants by filmmaker Tara Zabriskie explores the relationship between native plants and pollinators and how they can benefit local ecosystems in our ever changing climate.
The goal of the film is to raise awareness about the importance of biodiverse native ecosystems in our ever changing climate.

About the filmmaker: Tara Zabriskie is an independent filmmaker creating documentaries based on nature, science, health, and history that create hope and inspire change.

PLEASE NOTE: Filmmaker Tara Zabriskie will NOT be in attendance.

Babysitters, youth refs, athletes, camp counselors/CITs, students interested in EMS or other medical careers—please join us for a hands-on CPR workshop on Thursday, May 28th from 5:30-7:30 PM!

This workshop will empower you to take action when it matters most. You will practice CPR, learn how to use an AED, and discuss how to apply these skills in real-life scenarios.

Workshop Instructor: Betsy Savoie RN, MSN AHA Certified CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor

We are thrilled to announce that Friends of the Mansfield Public Library has been selected as the designated beneficiary for the Stop & Shop Community Bag Program for the entire month of May!
Next time you’re grabbing groceries at our local Stop & Shop (377 Chauncy St), please look for the reusable Community Bag. For every bag purchased this month, our library receives a $1 donation.
