Notice to Water Customers from Butter’s Carwash (1276 south Main Street) to Lowes.

The Mansfield Municipal Authority will be completing the final water connection for the South Main Street Project on Monday, August 3, 2026.

During this connection, customers in the affected area will experience a temporary loss of water service beginning in the morning. We are hopeful that water service will be restored by noon.

Once water service has been restored, all affected customers will be required to boil their water for a minimum of three (3) days as a precaution. A follow-up notice will be issued as soon as the boil water advisory has been lifted.

The affected area includes both sides of South Main Street from Butters Car Wash at 1276 South Main Street to Lowe's.

We appreciate your continued patience and understanding as we complete this important project.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Mansfield Borough office at (570)662-2315 Ext 2.

🚨 Public Health Notice 🚨
The Pennsylvania Department of Health has notified us that West Nile Virus was detected in a mosquito sample collected in Mansfield Borough.
🦟 While this does not mean there is an immediate health threat, it serves as an important reminder to take simple steps to protect yourself and your family:
• Use insect repellent when outdoors, especially at dawn and dusk.
• Wear long sleeves and pants when possible.
• Remove standing water around your property (birdbaths, buckets, tires, etc.), as this is where mosquitoes breed.
👉 Most people bitten by a mosquito carrying West Nile Virus will not get sick, but some may develop flu-like symptoms. If you experience severe headaches, confusion, or a high fever, contact a healthcare provider.
The Borough will continue to work with county and state health officials to monitor the situation. Thank you for doing your part to help keep our community safe!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined me for Borough Brew this morning! ☕️

It was a wonderful morning filled with great conversations, thoughtful ideas, and a shared commitment to making Mansfield an even better place to live and work.

I'm truly grateful for a community that takes the time to participate, share ideas, and offer their support. Your input and willingness to get involved helps shape the future of our Borough, and I appreciate each and every one of you.

Since today's Saturday Borough Brew was such a success, I'm excited to share that we'll be adding **one Saturday Borough Brew each month**! This will give even more residents an opportunity to stop by.

Stay tuned for September's Borough Brew dates! In September, we'll be hosting one Borough Brew on a Thursday morning and one on a Saturday morning, giving everyone a couple of opportunities to stop by and chat.

Thank you again for your time, your encouragement, and your dedication to our community. Together, we're making Mansfield an even better place to call home! 💛
