🍀Citizenship Washington Focus Opportunity 🍀

This spring, Ohio 4-H youth will have the opportunity to attend Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF) in Washington, D.C., March 16–21, 2026! ✈️🏛️

Participants will stay at the Washington Hilton while exploring our nation’s capital, developing leadership skills, and connecting with 4-H members from across the country.

At this time, the National 4-H Council has not released final pricing or timelines. Based on last year’s structure, we are estimating a cost of approximately $2,000 per youth. Please note that this is only an estimate and may change once official information is released.

🌲🔥 Memory Monday 🔥🌲

We're taking a trip back to 2009!

This was the year we were playing on our Nintendo DS, collecting Webkinz, watching Wizards of Waverly Place and iCarly, and singing along to songs from artists like Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, and The Black Eyed Peas. 🎵📱✨

At 4-H Camp, friendships were forming, campfires were crackling, and memories were being made that would last a lifetime. Looking through these photos, it's amazing to see how much has changed—and how much has stayed the same.

Applications for the 2026 Richland County Jr. Fair King & Queen Contest are now available!

⏰ Applications are due by Monday, July 20, 2026.

Completed applications can be:
📬 Mailed or dropped off at the OSU Extension Office (1495 W. Longview Ave., Mansfield)
📬 Mailed or dropped off at the Junior Fair Office (750 N. Home Rd., Mansfield)

To be eligible, applicants must:
✔️ Be 15–18 years old as of January 1, 2026
✔️ Be a Richland County Junior Fair exhibitor in the current year
✔️ Be a member in good standing with the Junior Fair organization they represent
✔️ Meet all Ohio Junior Fair King & Queen Contest requirements

This is a great opportunity to represent Richland County Junior Fair, develop leadership skills, and serve as an ambassador for our youth programs!
