🌼 Calling all Manteca gardeners and curb appeal champions! 🏡

It's time to show off the front yards that make our neighborhoods beautiful. The City of Manteca's Fabulous Front Yard Competition is here, celebrating the creativity, sustainability, and community pride growing right outside our front doors.

Whether you've created a colorful flower garden, planted pollinator-friendly blooms, or designed a water-wise landscape, we'd love to see it!

Contest Timeline:
🌱 Applications Open: July 21, 2026
🗳️ Community Voting: August 31–September 13, 2026
🏆 Winner Announced: September 21, 2026
🎉 Recognition at City Council: October 6, 2026

One finalist will be selected from each City Council District, plus one Mayor's Choice finalist, before the community votes to crown this year's Fabulous Front Yard!

✨ A NEW ONLINE EXPERIENCE FOR MANTECA! 💻🏙️

We’re excited to officially welcome you to the City of Manteca’s new website!

Our redesigned site brings new features and improved ways for our community to find information, stay connected, share feedback, and receive important updates from the City. This is another step toward making it easier for our residents to access the information and services they need.

As with any big transition, we’re still working through updates, changes, and a few finishing touches. We appreciate your patience as our team continues to fine-tune the site and make improvements along the way.

Meet Alycia, one of the talented artists helping bring more color, creativity and community pride to Manteca through the City of Manteca Utility Box Art Program! 🦬🦋

Her design is more than just a way to brighten up a street corner, it’s a piece of Manteca’s story, created right here in our community.

The Utility Box Art Program gives artists an opportunity to leave their mark on Manteca while transforming everyday infrastructure into public art for everyone to enjoy.

Join the City of Manteca as we celebrate the Phase 1 ribbon cutting of The Way Veteran Village, a new tiny home community providing veterans with supportive transitional housing, access to services, and a pathway toward stability, wellness and permanent housing.

🚧 Improvements are on the way along Woodward Avenue! 🏗️

Construction associated with the Machado Ranch Subdivision will include widening Woodward Avenue and installing new underground utilities to serve the growing area.

While this work will require temporary roadway closures and traffic impacts, these improvements are an important investment in the infrastructure needed to support future development and improve the roadway for our community. 🚗🛣️

We appreciate your patience as this work moves forward. Please follow posted detours and traffic control signs, and allow a little extra travel time when driving through the area. ⚠️

🚧 Microsurfacing is underway for the Shasta Park Area Pavement Improvement Project 2.0!

Work is scheduled through August 25. No Parking signs will be posted at least 72 hours in advance on affected streets.

During microsurfacing, streets will be temporarily closed and are expected to reopen within 3–4 hours once the surface has cured. Temporary striping will also be installed.

Please drive safely, follow posted signs, and watch for crews working in the area.
