A little friendly rivalry, a lot of community spirit. 🥎

Today, Team Manteca took the field for the annual City of Manteca vs. Del Webb Woodbridge softball game. While we came up just short with a final score of 6-3, it was a great afternoon filled with teamwork, sportsmanship, and community connection.

We’re grateful to the Del Webb Woodbridge community for the invitation and hospitality, and for continuing a tradition that brings people together both on and off the field. These friendly competitions are a great reminder that strong communities are built through relationships, laughter, and a little healthy competition.

Sure, Del Webb Woodbridge may have taken home the win this year… but Team Manteca is still proudly holding onto last year’s victory and already looking forward to next year’s rematch. 😉

Thank you again to everyone who participated, cheered from the sidelines, and helped make today’s game another memorable one.

💦 Woodward Splash Pad Update 💦

We are thrilled to see so many families enjoying the new Woodward Splash Pad! Thank you for your excitement, support, and feedback as we welcome this exciting new amenity to our community.

As with any newly installed facility, our Parks team is continuing to fine-tune system operations, including water pressure adjustments, programming, and other maintenance-related items to ensure the best possible experience for our visitors.

During this initial startup period, there may be times when the splash pad is temporarily closed or portions of the system are taken offline to allow staff to perform testing, adjustments, and routine maintenance. These temporary interruptions are a normal part of bringing a new facility online and help us ensure the system operates safely and efficiently for everyone.

We also ask for your help in keeping the splash pad operating at its best by using nearby trash receptacles and helping us keep leaves, food items, and other debris out of the splash pad area. Keeping the area clean helps maintain water flow and supports the performance of the system’s filtration and drainage components.

We appreciate your patience and partnership as our Parks Division works through these final adjustments. Our team is committed to providing a fun, safe, and enjoyable splash experience for our community for many years to come.
