This year's Black-Eyed Pea Festival will be held on Saturday October 3, 2026, on First Street in Mantee! The Town of Mantee is excited to announce that we were awarded a America250 Mississippi minigrant to develop the historical display in our Depot to honor our local veterans! 🇺🇸

As a part of this project, we are now accepting donations of photos and memorabilia related to military service experience by people from Mantee or who are living in Mantee now (town limits & Mantee mailing addresses in the county). Please reach out to us here or call our mayor, Doug Wilson, to coordinate your donation!

We love and appreciate all veterans in the surrounding area and across the country, but we made the decision to focus this project for our small museum space specifically on Mantee. Look out for more information on our ribbon cutting in the spring, which will be open to the public
